Aircraft Rental was established in April 2000 to provide maintenance support initially for Bermuda registered private jet aircraft based in the United Kingdom and Europe.

During January 2001 Aircraft Rental quickly developed with an application to the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority to become  a JAR 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation. The application was sucessful and Aircraft Rental was granted a JAR 145 approval in February 2001 along with a Bermuda Maintenance Organisation Approval following  in March 2001

Aircraft Rental remains a small maintenance organisation with the prime aim of providing an operator with a choice and an alternative to the large established maintenance organisation.Aircraft Rental is based at Eastleigh, Southampton in the United Kingdom but also operates from Farnborough and carries out maintenance to its contracted aircraft at the operators own facilities, Allowing  the operator the maximum flexibility and keeping costs to a minimum.
